My name is Cynthia Baur.  I am a former farm worker, a 2016 Baird Sustainability Fellow and a local food-advocate. After gaining hands-on experience in the agricultural sector, I'm excited to apply my passion for people and details while finding new ways to engage with the local food movement.

I've spent the past few years deeply involved in the production side of several environmentally-conscious agricultural businesses.  In these positions I developed excellent leadership skills while applying my strong attention to detail.

I also served as the secretary for the board of directors of Farmers on the Square, a producer-only farmers' market in Carlisle, PA.  This experience exposed me to the successes and struggles of a non-profit organization and the importance of maintaining one's passion for the mission of the organization.
