An Analysis of the Local Food Movement in Carlisle, PA
Using anthropological ethnographic research methods I critically analyze the local food movement as a response to neoliberal economic policy.
For this research I won the undergraduate Christine Wilson Award from the Society for the Anthropology of Food and Nutrition.

In this podcast I explore urban agriculture with other students from the Spring 2015 Umbra Institute Food Studies Program. We visit the urban garden of Ubaldo, a sweet and dedicated individual, who has some unique strategies for utilizing every inch of his garden located in the center of Perugia, Italy.

Agricultural Practices in Southwestern Tanzania: A Response to Physical, Environmental and Economic Change
In 2014 I traveled to Tanzania with Professor Karen Weinstein and Professor James Ellison from the Dickinson College Department of Anthropology. I conducted original research using ethnographic research skills such as interviews and participant observation.
